SUNSET TO MOON RISE

FULL MOON WALK - VILLAVERDE/ LA OLIVA

Step into the enchanting and ancient landscape that makes Fuerteventura such a wonder to explore. This Volcano walk allows you to experience the island at it´s best, under the light of the setting Sun and the rising of the Full Moon. We gradually ascend, following ancient stone walls and surrounded by magnificent volcanic scenery. We walk towards the West for the setting Sun and return East for the Moon rise, unveiling hidden secrets of the culture and history as we walk.

With our seasoned Star Guide as your compass.

THE CYCLES OF THE SUN & MOON

During our walk, we’ll unveil the island’s rich tapestry of flora and fauna, delve into its captivating history, and explore its ancient culture, including astro archaeological sites. If we are lucky, we will hear the call of the Barbary Falcon as the Sun is setting!

We then begin our return journey, observing the Full Moon rising in the East. As we descend our conversation shifts to her cycles and importance in our ecosystem. And as the darkness creeps we can start to see the stars shining.
