ITINERY:
DAY 1 : May 22nd - Arrival and Welcome -Arrive at La Palma Airport and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and settle into your accommodations. Meet the instructors and fellow participants. Overview of the workshop schedule and goals.
DAY 2: May 23rd - Fundamentals of Night Photography -Introduction to night photography techniques and camera settings. Equipment overview and preparation. Island Exploration -Guided tour of La Palma’s scenic spots. Sunset photography session at a picturesque location. Night Milky Way Photography Setting up for and capturing stunning Milky Way images.
DAY 3: May 24th - Post-Processing Essentials - Learn how to edit astrophotography images using Lightroom and Photoshop. Afternoon Free Time and Optional Activities - Relax or explore La Palma’s attractions such as beaches or hiking trails. Night Star Trails Photography -Techniques for creating star trails and time-lapse sequences.
DAY 4: May 25th -Photo Review and Feedback - Group review and critique of photos taken so far. Personalised feedback from instructors. Scenic Photography Tour - Explore diverse landscapes of La Palma, including volcanic terrain and lush forests. Night: Wide-Field Night Photography - Capture expansive views of the night sky with wide-field techniques.
Day 5: May 26th - Editing and Compositing - Advanced post-processing session focusing on blending multiple exposures and compositing. Cultural Experience Visit to a local village to experience La Palma's culture and traditions. Using Trackers for Night photography - Advanced session on using star trackers to capture longer exposures and more detailed night sky images.
Day 6: May 27th Free Exploration - Free time to explore the island on your own or revisit favourite spots. Creative Night Photography - Experimenting with creative techniques like light painting and foreground integration.
Day 7: May 28th - Final Review and Showcase Preparation -Final review of images and preparation for the evening's showcase.
DAY 8: May 29th - Departure - Breakfast and check-out. Transfer to La Palma Airport for your departure. Farewell to new friends and fellow night photography enthusiasts.
